As expected, HTC has started rolling out Android Nougat update for unlocked HTC 10 smartphone. The announcement was made by Mo Versi, HTC’s VP of Product Management on Twitter that unlocked units of its HTC 10 smartphone will receive the nougat OS update starting November 25.
Happy Thanksgiving! HTC 10 unlocked owners will receive Nougat OS update tomorrow morning! Enjoy!

As the tweet doesn’t mention any particular region for the OTA update, one could expect a global roll-out of the Nougat update to all unlocked HTC owners. However, the update roll-out could be in a phased manner for different regions, so it may take sometime before the update hits your device. In the mean time you can check for any software upgrade notification in the settings menu of your handset.
The unlocked One M9 and One A9 smartphones are also expected to receive Android 7.0 Nougat update soon. Earlier this month, LG G5 and Moto Z and Z Force smartphones received the Android Nougat update.
