HTC started rolling out Android Nougat update to HTC 10 back in November last year, but now as per recent updates the company has halted the roll out of the Nougat update for its HTC 10 smartphone due to few bugs. Apparently, certain prominent bugs had crept into the HTC 10 Nougat update firmware. The company got the information by the German subsidiary of the company on social media channels.
As HTC putting the current Nougat roll out on standby for their flagship device, HTC 10 this is definitely unfortunate news for HTC 10 users. The full details of bugs are not revealed yet. Also, we don’t have information that when the company is planning to resume the Nougat rollout for HTC 10.
The company has not revealed any information about the region/market which will be affected by this bug or it’s applicable globally. It may take a while for HTC to resume OTA roll out again.
