Many rumors are available online about the launch of OnePlus 3T smartphone but recently Qualcomm tweeted – Something new from OnePlus is on the way which will be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor. After this, OnePlus itself has confirmed that the launch of the upcoming smartphone-OnePlus 3T will take place on November 15 at 1PM EST (IST 11.30PM).

Media invites are already dispatched. The company will be live streaming the launch on Facebook. As the new flagship is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, the company has also mentioned that the Snapdragon 821 will be clocked at 2.35GHz, offering 10% better performance compared to the Snapdragon 820 processor. The new processor -Snapdragon 821 also has support for Snapdragon VR SDK which allows for Daydream support as well as dual phase detection. It will help in improving autofocus speed compared to standard phase-detection autofocus (PDAF).
Reportedly, the design is said to remain same as the original OnePlus 3, but it could run Android 7.0 (Nougat) out-of-the-box apart from a new processor of course. The Snapdragon 821 processor is expected to be paired with 6GB of RAM. It can be available in two storage options – 64GB and 128GB. The OnePlus 3T is pegged to pack a slightly larger 3300mAh battery as well. The smartphone is expected to be priced at $479 (roughly Rs. 32,100) – $80 more than the OnePlus 3, which is priced at Rs. 27,999 in India.
