Samsung has officially introduced it’s latest Galaxy A series (2017) smartphones – 4.7-inch Galaxy A3 (2017), 5.2-inch Galaxy A5 (2017) and 5.7-inch Galaxy A7 (2017). All the A series (2017) smartphones feature Samsung’s premium design with a metal frame and 3D glass back and are more seamless than ever. The Galaxy A series smartphones comes in four color options – Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud.
The new Galaxy A (2017) series handsets come with include a USB Type-C port, Fast Charging, and Always on Display. The smartphones offer IP68 water and dust resistance, allowing it to withstand the elements, including rain, sweat, sand and dust. The Galaxy A series (2017) smartphones comes with dual-SIM functionality and fingerprint sensor. All the three Galaxy A series smartphones run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The A7 and A5 come with 16MP front and rear cameras.
The Galaxy A7 (2017) is the top most model of the series. It has a 5.7-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display. The phone is powered by a 1.9GHz Octa Core Exynos 7880 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage, as well as expandable storage with microSD support up to 256GB. The Galaxy A5 (2017) falls between the Galaxy A7 (2017) and Galaxy A3 (2017) in terms of specifications. It features a 5.2-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display. The phone is powered by a 1.9GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7880 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage, as well as expandable storage with microSD support up to 256GB. The Galaxy A3 (2017) is the smallest among the all. It features a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 14nm processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, as well as expandable storage with microSD support up to 256GB. Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) has a 13MP rear camera and a 8MP front camera. The Galaxy A series (2017) smartphones will be available in Russia in early-January and will be expanded to global markets.
