After many rumors, finally, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have been launched at its New York event. The new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones feature 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch bezel-less ‘Infinity Display’ respectively. Both the smartphones have curved screen design, Gorilla Glass 5, 2960×1440 pixel resolution, and 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
Many features are same in both the devices like Processor, RAM, internal storage, SIM Slot, Camera (Front/Rear), Sensors and connectivity options. Both Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have 4GB of RAM, Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, 12-megapixel dual-pixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, and IP68 certification for water- and dust-resistance.
Samsung Galaxy S8 backed up by 3000mAh battery while Samsung Galaxy S8+ backed up by little bigger 3500mAh battery. In both devices, fast Charging option support available (both on wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging). Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth v 5.0 (LE up to 2Mbps), GPS with GLONASS, USB 2.0, NFC, MST. 
Samsung has removed its traditional hardware home button and replaced it with software buttons like other Android phones. It also offers haptic feedback like Apple’s iPhones offering the virtual feeling of pressing a home button when pressed on a specific spot where the software home button appears. It also has an Iris scanner that was first introduced on the Galaxy Note7.
Samsung has long been building hype around its next flagship smartphones as well, promising a sleek design and improved camera, and confirming the Bixby AI-based virtual assistant ahead of the Galaxy S8 launch event. Bixby AI-based virtual assistant that promises a more personalized experience to enhance the way people interact with their phones and the world around them. Samsung says Bixby is not an ordinary voice assistant, but rather an intuitive and comprehensive interface that leverages contextual awareness to learn users’ habits and respond accordingly.
