SONY mobile has stated taking pre-orders of the Xperia X Compact smartphone in the United States. The unlocked version of the handset is available for pre-order through Amazon.com starting at $499.99. Amazon is also offering $50 credit at checkout with the purchase, that makes the effective cost at $449.99. The phone will be released on September 25, 2016.
