Xiaomi has already officially released the Android Nougat update for Mi 5 smartphone last week. And it is currently working on releasing Nougat updates to more of it’s devices. Xiaomi has now confirmed some more of its smartphones that’ll get the Android Nougat update in coming weeks.
List of Xiaomi smartphones that will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update:
- Xiaomi Mi 4C
- Xiaomi Mi 4S
- Xiaomi Mi Note
- Xiaomi Mi Max
- Xiaomi Mi 5s
- Xiaomi Mi Note 2
- Xiaomi Mi Mix
- Xiaomi Mi 5 (Nougat update already released)
The confirmation came in from a company representative who revealed the details in a post on Weibo. Xiaomi Mi 5s, Mi Note 2 and Mi Mix are already in company’s list for Android Nougat update. The Mi 4C, Mi 4S, Mi Note and Mi Max are the latest entry to the list.
There’s currently no information on exactly when the update will be released, although according to reports the roll out is expected sometime in the first quarter of 2017. Further, there is no info about if the Redmi series of smartphones would get the Nougat update or not.
