Alcatel Idol 4S was announced in November 2016 in the US. At launch, the device sold at a price tag of $469.99 and it’s a T-Mobile exclusive that comes with a free VR headset. Today it receives a price cut of $38 and the device is listed with the price tag of $432.00.
It runs Windows 10 Mobile operating system with support for VR and Windows Continuum out of the box. It features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with Dragontrail glass protection and powered by Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor (2×2.15GHz + 2×1.6GHz) with Adreno 530 GPU.
It packs a 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage (expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card). As far as the camera is concerned, it will have 21MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX230 sensor and 8MP front-facing camera with LED flash, 84-degree wide angle lens. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C. It also has a fingerprint sensor and audio include Dual 1.2W multi-directional speaker, Hi-Fi audio.
