Samsung Galaxy A (2016) series smartphones will get Android Nougat update soon

Samsung is planning to roll out the Android Nougat update soon for its flagship Samsung Galaxy A (2016) lineup, some new reports confirms. The list includes the 2016 lineup of Samsung Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7, Galaxy A8, Galaxy A9 and Galaxy A9 Pro. Reports also confirms that the Galaxy Note 5 will also get the Nougat update in coming days. However, there is no information about when the roll-out would begin, but it will likely to take some time.

In parallel, the company is also working on beta builds of Nougat for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. They are already running the ‘Galaxy Beta Program’ registrations for the S7 and S7 edge. Recently company reopens registration for Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge Android Nougat Beta Program. If you own one of them and are not still registered to this program, you can sign up by following few easy steps. We are expecting to get the final version in early next year (2017).

There are also many online rumors available that the company is working on upcoming flagships Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017). These new 2017 editions are expected to ship running Android 6.0 out of the box, but we can hope to see them to get Android 7.0 Nougat along with their 2016 siblings in the coming months.
