Android 7.1.1 Nougat developer preview 2 released for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9 and Pixel C

Last month Google releases Android 7.1 Nougat developer preview for older Nexus devices, now the company has released Android 7.1.1 Nougat developer preview 2 for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9 and Pixel C. It includes many optimizations and bug fixes. All Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9 (WiFi and LTE) and Pixel C device users can download Android 7.1.1 Nougat Developer preview 2 (build NPF26F and NPF26H)  through the Android developer website or you can also get it through Android Beta Program.

To download it using Android Beta Program is the easiest way. Google has already confirmed that final Android 7.1.1 Nougat update will be available in December 2016 for all the supported devices. The list of supported device also includes Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Nexus 9, Pixel C, General Mobile 4G (Android One), as well as Pixel and Pixel XL.

On release of Android 7.1.1 Nougat developer preview 2, Google said-

“Developer Preview 2 is a release candidate for Android 7.1.1 that you can use to complete your app development and testing in preparation for the upcoming final release. In includes near-final system behaviors and UI, along with the latest bug fixes and optimizations across the system and Google apps. It also includes the developer features and APIs (API level 25) already introduced in Developer Preview 1.”
