Finally, it’s official now that Apple killed traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack in newly launched devices iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Following to earlier post, it was just a rumor because 3.5 mm jack is most important part of any smartphone. In today’s launch event in San Fransisco, the company has introduced the new lightning EarPods along with the new wireless earbuds called as Apple AirPods. It comes with an excellent charging case.
These are very easy to use because they have introduced a new way to connect these wireless earbuds by simply opening up the AirPods’ case and tapping “connect” option on your iPhone. These AirPods offer wireless audio for up to 5 hours without needing to be put back in their charging case. Its battery case gives an additional 24 hours of charge which can be charged via a lightning cable.
AirPods experience is just as amazing whether you’re listening to your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac. As for as compatibility is concerned, AirPods require Apple devices to be running iOS 10, watchOS 3, or macOS Sierra to work. The technology behind this is based on a new Apple chip called the W1. It handles the audio and wireless connection. It comes with dual accelerometers and optical sensors which help to detect when they are in user’s ears. If the user has removed them from ears, it will automatically pause the music. The AirPods also have a mic, so users can talk on the phone and also access Siri.
