Apple is making it official: the company will host a press conference on October 27 and unveiling a major product. This is where we expect the company to unveil new MacBook Pro computers. This event will take place on Apple’s campus, likely marking the last one before Apple Campus 2 is open for business.
If we look at the rumors, Apple’s new MacBook will offer a thinner design along with the latest Intel processors – possibly at the cost of full-size USB ports. That might be hard to get used to for MacBook Pro users, who have typically gravitated to the laptop for the abundance of port options. Perhaps Apple will load up on USB-C ports instead. This event is quite surprising to us as Apple opted not to hold two fall events last year and all signs pointed to the iPhone 7 event last month being the last before Apple moves into its new campus next year.
Apple is expected to outfit the new MacBook Pro with a special OLED panel above the keyboard that can be used for shortcuts, quick launch options and more. Apple is also set to reveal their latest quarterly earnings results two days before the event.
