As per earlier post, iPhone 7 will be launched without traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack. Therefore Apple said to launch new Bluetooth earbuds with charging case.
Reportedly Cupertino is developing a set of Bluetooth earbuds for the past few years with some special technologies and in parallel Apple is working on Low-power Bluetooth chip which will help to improve battery life for these earbuds.
Since Apple is using third party Bluetooth Chip Technology which was sold by a startup named Passif Semiconductor in 2013. Company was planning to launch these earbuds in last year but due to some reasons which were not meeting company standards, decided to launch it later.

Apple’s new Bluetooth earbuds would be totally wireless and would come with carrying case. Some companies already offering the similar products like Samsung’s Gear IconX (pictured above) but Apple is working on this concept to develop it on more energy efficient Bluetooth Chip.
It is still a rumor because company has not declared the launch of wireless earbuds officially. But as per leaked information from few sources, Apple is planning to launch it this September when iPhone 7 will hit the market. Some sources are also saying that new wireless earbuds may arrive early before launch of iPhone 7.
