Flipkart is registered in Singapore  because of various reasons, some of them are given below-

1. Singapore is politically and economically stable country.

Politically and Economically stable means, there won’t be frequent changes in law and the economy of this country will be least likely to collapse. Economically, Singapore is very strong.

2. Ease of doing business

In last ten years, it has been ranked as Top  1 in ease of doing business index. This is just because friendly policies are business owners, less bureaucracies and efficient systems. Due to this, many start up companies are also registered in Singapore and they are doing business in India.

3. Taxation

In India, Corporate tax is 34 % while in Singapore it is 17% only. So in this case Flipkart has to pay less tax. Also India has tax on dividends, it means when investors get their dividends , they have to pay taxes on it, while in Singapore there is no such tax.

4. FDI Regulations

In comparison to India, FDI Regulations are very good in Singapore, due to which Flipkart choose to register in Singapore not in India.

There are many more reasons which are best known to them (Founders and Funders ).
