And here comes the new dessert from the Google’s kitchen…..Google has officially revealed the official name of the Android N – dubbed as the Android N, the next version of Android will be known as Android Nougat! Android has a history of sweet-treated names for Android — Android 1.5 was Cupcake, 1.6 was Donut, then Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop and Marshmallow. And now, here is your Nougat to taste.

This was the first time that Google opened up the Android naming process to the public idea, and Nougat beat out other n-based desserted suggestions including Nutter Butter, Nutella, Nerds and Neco Wafers.
Google has unveiled the Android Nougat statue, on the lawn of its headquarters in Mountain View, California. No other details have been disclosed about the new version of Android, it’s still unclear what version number Nougat will get.
