HTC 10 and HTC One M9 starts receiving Android Nougat update in Europe

HTC resumes Android 7.0 Nougat update roll out to HTC 10 devices in Europe a couple of weeks after it was halted due to bugs. The update is currently hitting units in the UK and will be available in other countries soon. In addition to this, the company has also started rolling out Android Nougat update to the HTC One M9 units in Europe, starting with UK with more regions to follow soon. The update comes with the latest Android security update by Google.

The HTC 10 Android Nougat update is coming with software version 2.41.401.3, and is 1.17 GB in size. The OTA update is rolling out gradually and will reach to your device very soon. You can check for any software upgrade notification on your device manually via Settings » About phone » Software update section on your phone.

The HTC One M9 Android Nougat update has the software version number 4.14.401.7 which brings the latest Google security patches and system enhancements. HTC users in Europe receives the Nougat update a bit late as the company updated both the HTC 10 as well as the HTC One M9 to Nougat back in December. Also the HTC One A9 has received the Nougat update in the US and the Nougat update for the European One A9 is coming soon.
