Lenovo Vibe K5 Note receives VoLTE Update through OTA: Enables VoLTE Calling feature

Lenovo has pushed an OTA update to Vibe K5 Note smartphone which brings 4G VoLTE support to the device. Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is the latest K Series smartphone launched in August this year. At the time of launch the Vibe K5 Note did not support 4G VoLTE (Voice Over LTE). Last week it finally received the VoLTE update in India that enables 4G VoLTE Calling feature on the smartphone. Vibe K5 Note VoLTE update now let users to make VoLTE calls through Reliance Jio network.

The Software version that brings VoLTE update to Vibe K5 Note is – S312. You can check any software upgrade notification in the settings menu of your smartphone. After installing the update you can enable the VoLTE feature by going to the mobile network settings and enabling “Enhanced 4G LTE mode”. Once enabled, you can see the VoLTE logo showing up in status bar on the top.

The update size is 122MB, which also includes the Android security update for September, 2016 for the handset.
