As expected, Moto M smartphone launched in India. It sports an all-metal body design with a 5.5-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The phone is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor. The new Moto M smartphone comes in two memory variants – the base variant, which has 32GB internal storage and 3GB of RAM and the 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage variant. The phone supports microSD cards of up to 128GB capacitiesIt comes with Hybrid dual-SIM slot with support for 4G VoLTE. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back and support for Dolby Atmos.
On the camera specifications, Moto M has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Phase-Detection Autofocus (PDAF), and an 8-megapixel front camera. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 3050mAh non-removable battery with Turbocharging feature. It also comes with Water Repellent Coating with Nanometer. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G VoLTE (with support for Indian LTE bands), USB Type-C (USB 3.1), NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Price and Availability
The Moto M will be available in two variants and will be sold exclusively through Flipkart. It comes in two color variants – Gold and Silver. The base variant of Moto M with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage costs Rs. 15,999, while the model with 64GB built-in storage and 4GB RAM costs Rs. 17,999. The phones will go on sale from December 14, 11:59PM exclusively on Flipkart.
