Motorola has officially confirmed that the Moto Z Play will receive the Android 7.1.1 update. The company didn’t give any information on when the update will be rolled out to the device but a company representative confirmed that it is coming, during a chat session.
The Moto Z Play started receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update early this year in January, starting with Europe, followed by India and Brazil and then in Canada and the USA in March. And now the device is all set to join the league of devices running Android 7.1.1. Nougat version. The Moto Z Play was launched last year with Android Marshmallow running.
