OxygenOS 4.0.2 update starts rolling out to the OnePlus 3 and 3T

Just to refresh your memory, OnePlus delivered the OxygenOS 4.0 update based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) last month for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. OnePlus is now in the process of rolling out a new update to its latest flagship devices. Notably, the latest update from the company doesn’t bring along a host of improvements or changes to the OS. It just comes with stability improvements and bug fixes, including additional APN settings, and fixes for Play Store downloads and the proximity sensor.

The OTA rollout will be incremental, so only a few percentage of users will receive the update today. According to OnePlus, this will fix Google Play Store download bug that users have been experiencing since the release of OxygenOS 4.0.1 update. It also says that some might experience WiFi connectivity fluctuation, even after this update.

Here are the highlights:

  • Upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat
    • New Notifications Design
    • New Settings Menu Design
    • Multi-Window View
    • Notification Direct Reply
    • Custom DPI Support
    • Added Status Bar Icon options
  • Improved Shelf Customization
  • Updated APN Settings for select Carriers
  • Fixed Proximity Sensor bug during calls
  • Fixed Google Play Store download bug
  • Increased System Stability

The size of OxygenOS 4.0.2 OTA update is just 30MB. If you found any bug, you can report it using below link-
