Samsung has launched it’s mid-range smartphone – Galaxy J7 Prime – in the United States. Earlier to this, the phone has been available for purchase in India and a couple of other Asian markets. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is available for purchase through Amazon in the US, which has listed the black colored variant for around $285. The model is compatible with all GSM providers in the country.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is a dual-SIM phone and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The J7 Prime sports a Full Metal body and has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD TFT display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The phone is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal memory which expandable up to 256GB with microSD. On the camera specifications it has a 13MP rear unit and an 8MP front shooter. It packs a 3,300mAh battery, and features a fingerprint sensor as well. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS.
