Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Dual-SIM (SM-N9208) now getting Android 7.0 Nougat update

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 single SIM variant started receiving Nougat update last month (at least the units in Turkey and India are getting the update), now the dual-SIM model of Galaxy Note 5 is receiving the Android N treatment. Samsung is now rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update to Galaxy Note 5 Dual SIM (SM-N9208), also known as Note 5 Duos.

The OTA update comes as build number N9208XXU3CQC6 and brings Android security patches for March. After the Nougat update installation, users will experience all new Nougat features that include split-window mode, improved menu settings, improved user interface and notification controls.

As usual, the OTA update is rolling out gradually, it may take some time to reach your device if it hasn’t already. You can check for any software upgrade notification manually by going to Settings > About device > System updates.
