After releasing Android Nougat update to Galaxy S6 edge+ last month, Samsung has finally started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update to it’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge smartphones in India. Earlier to this, the company has already rolled out the Nougat update to Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge and the Galaxy Note 5 units in the country.
The Android Nougat OTA update comes with build number G920IDVU3FQD1 for Galaxy S6 and weighing around 1235.04MB in size, while the Galaxy S6 edge is receiving the update with build number G925IDVU3FQD1 and 1247.36MB in size. It also includes Android security patch for the month of March 2017.
Android Nougat update to both the devices comes along with some performance improvements, improvements to notifications, multi-window mode, always-on display, system upgrade and app installation processes have also been enhanced.
