As promised, Samsung has launched it’s flagship smartphones – Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ – in India. Both the phones were announced last month. Samsung India has highlighted some key specs such as Infinity Display, battery life, camera and iris scanner. The company has said has said that you can use the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+’s iris scanner to authenticate transactions via Samsung Pay even in India.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ come in Midnight Black and Maple Gold colors, while the S8+ also comes in Coral Blue color.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus price in India
Samsung Galaxy S8 price in India starts at Rs. 57,900. The smaller Galaxy S8 will be available at price of Rs. 57,900, while the bigger Galaxy S8+ is priced Rs. 64,900.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus pre-orders and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus India release date is May 5. Until then, both the smartphones will be available for pre-order exclusively from today on Flipkart and Samsung Shop. Flipkart is the online partner for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ and it will also be available via select offline retail stores. All pre-bookings will get freebies include:

The new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones feature 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch bezel-less ‘Infinity Display’ respectively. Both the smartphones have curved screen design, Gorilla Glass 5, 2960×1440 pixel resolution, and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Many features are same in both the devices like Processor, RAM, internal storage, Hybrid dual-SIM Slot, Camera (Front/Rear), Sensors and connectivity options. Both Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have 4GB of RAM, Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, 12-megapixel dual-pixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, and IP68 certification for water- and dust-resistance. Both the phones comes with Samsung’s Bixby Voice Assistant just like the Apple’s Siri and Google Assistant.
