Samsung starts developing software for the Galaxy Note 8, assigned firmware build numbers

As the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are now official, so the Galaxy Note 8 is the next big thing over the next several months in the rumors and leaks. Already it was reported that the Galaxy Note 8 has assigned with it’s code name, now the reports are coming that Samsung starts firmware development for the successor to the Galaxy Note7.

Going by the reports, Samsung has started developing software for the international variant of the much-anticipated Galaxy Note8 and assigned with software build numbers. Along with the Galaxy Note8, the report also mentions the software build numbers for the refurbished edition of the Galaxy Note7, that would be exclusive to South Korea.

Here are the alleged software build numbers for the upcoming note devices:

  • Galaxy Note8: N950FXXU0AQC6/ N950FOXM0AQC6/ N950FXXU0AQC6
  • Refurbished Galaxy Note7: N935LKLU2AQD2/ N935LLUC2AQD2/ N935LKLU2AQD2
