We are in Q4 of 2016 and still have two months left to end, here’s Sony Mobile’s new Xperia phones for 2017 are already up for the testings. Two new 2017’s Xperia models has been spotted at the Eurasian Economic Commission. Sony has started testing of two unannounced Xperia smartphone with model number G3121 and G3112.
If we follow the previous trends, this is the first Sony device for 2017 year, the ‘G’ indices at the beginning of the model number signifies the 2017 range of devices. Much like the Sony’s previous tends where ‘F’ model numbers were the 2016 range, ‘E’ models were the 2015 range and so on.
Sony doesn’t always follow the same pattern so it’s not that easy to define the exact Xperia series. But by going some logical guessing from the model numbers (G3112 and G3121), the most logical option looks Xperia XA2. Last year’s F31XX model was the Xperia XA – so we could be seeing a 2017 sequel of Xperia XA model with the G31XX, just a wild prediction!!
We are still in year 2016, and the next year’s Xperia models have been already surfaced, time will tell what’s under the wraps. We will share more information about the 2017’s Xperia models as we have it.
