SwiftKey’s new update brings support for Android N emoji

A new update to SwifKey keyboard app brings support for Android N emoji along with some other emoji related changes. SwiftKey Keyboard uses Artificial Intelligence to automatically learn your writing style, including the emoji you love to use. Google’s latest mobile OS version – Android 7.0 Nougat – brings over 1500 emoji including 72 new ones with it.

The change-log for the updates says:

  • Android N emoji are now supported
  • Diverse emoji now available. Long press select emoji to modify their skin tone

Android Nougat’s updated emojis are based on the new Emoji Unicode 9 standard that includes a number of new pictorials and skin tone variations. Android N emoji have now “more human-looking design,” and also brings new activity emoji.
