Launched in India on Saturday, the Tecno Camon 30 5G series includes the Camon 30 5G and Tecno Camon 30 5G. Newer models from the firm come with MediaTek Dimensity processors and are pre-installed with HiOS 14, which is based on Android 14. Although there is a 50-megapixel front camera on both phones, the Premier model has three 50-megapixel back cameras. With a 5,000mAh battery and compatibility for 70W wired charging, both Camon 30 series phones are powerful devices.
Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G price in India
In India, the starting price of the Tecno Camon 30 5G is Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB+256GB RAM and storage together. A 12GB+256GB memory model of the phone is also available for purchase, costing Rs. 26,999. In addition, the price of the Camon 30 Premier 5G with 12GB+512GB storage option in India is Rs. 39,999.
Beginning on May 23, both smartphones will be sold in India. These smartphones are also eligible for an instant bank discount of Rs. 3,000, the company announced.
Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G Specifications
Both the standard and premier models runs HiOS 14, an Android 14-based operating system. Both of them are dual-SIM smartphones with the standard model of 6.78 inch full HD + AMOLED screen and a refresh rate of 120Hz. However, the premier model has a 6.77 inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The standard model is powered by a 6nm Dimensity 7020 chip, whereas the premier model has a 4nm Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chip.
The phones feature biometric authentication and come with an in-display fingerprint reader in addition to an infrared blaster for controlling compatible appliances and equipment.
In addition, both phones have a 50-megapixel primary camera for taking pictures and recording videos. The Camon 30 Premier 5G boasts a 50-megapixel telephoto camera (3x optical) and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, in contrast to the ordinary model’s 2-megapixel depth sensor. For taking pictures and making video calls, both models feature a 50-megapixel camera on the front.
The Tecno Camon 30 5G comes with 256GB of storage, but the Camon 30 Premier 5G has twice as much. There are several connectivity choices, such as USB Type-C, Bluetooth, GPS, and GNSS.
