Amazon has announced its first smartphone – Amazon Fire Phone. It looks like any other smartphone currently on the market but it has many unique features you won’t get in any other smartphone. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos presented their company’s first smartphone at an event at Seattle. Amazon Fire Phone focuses on the user experience rather than just hardware. It gives access to all the apps on Amazon’s App Store. Jeff Bezos calls it the phone built for the Amazon Prime customer.
Amazon Fire phone is meant to capitalize on the digital ecosystem that the company has created around the likes of its Kindle hardware and the new Fire TV. Its main selling points are bound to be Amazon’s reach in terms of content services, as well as the unique 3D UI dubbed Dynamic Perspective. The phone’s frame is made from rubber, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection is present both on its front and on its back. The buttons are made of anodized aluminum. Fire Phone comes with built-in Dolby Digital Plus audio enhancement technology that can auto-adjust volume, create virtual surround-sound experience.

Under the rumors of its much anticipated smartphone Amazon was never expected to come up with an iPhone or other high-end smartphones competitor. But it has some exclusive features that no other smartphone in the market can match right now. Take a look at some of those unique features of Amazon Fire Phone:
7- 3D Everywhere: There are the 3D effects, not the traditional 3D in the sense that images pop out of the screen. The Fire Phone has the ability to track a user’s head. This is done through four corner-mounted, front-facing infrared cameras and produces wild 3D effects. Throughout the phone, when you move your head, the app moves with you. Your photos will move with your head — your lock screen, as well.
8- Access to Amazon prime and Kindle Contents: The Amazon Fire Phone seamlessly works with Prime content. Every Fire Phone comes with a year of Prime membership for free. You can enjoy unlimited streaming and downloads of thousands of popular movies and TV shows, access to millions of songs and playlists. You Can also get access to 500,000 books to borrow for free with the Kindle Owner’s Lending Library.
9- Firefly Technology: Firefly is a signature feature that makes sense with an Amazon Fire Phone. It helps you to identify anything. Point your camera at a phone number, a book cover or a bar code, and Firefly will automatically detect the phone number, the name of the book or the product. User can access the camera and even take photos of QR codes to find items on Amazon’s website and then buy them instantly. There are many thing that Firefly can detect and identify for you. Amazon put a dedicated physical Firefly button on the side of the device.
10- Unlimited Cloud Storage: The Fire Phone comes with 32GB or 64GB of storage, but Amazon is offering unlimited cloud storage to buyers. Users can save both photos and videos to Amazon’s Cloud Drive, but not music. It’s free and unlimited.
The Amazon Fire Phone is available for the pre-order with contract and without contract. The Fire Phone will be released on July 25, 2014. You can pre-order your Amazon Fire Phone here:
