Xiaomi’s camera-focused Civi Phone is finally launched in India today.
Similar to other phones in the Xiaomi 14 series, the new phone has three 50-megapixel rear cameras under the Leica brand and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 mobile platform. With a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, the Xiaomi 14 Civi boasts a curved AMOLED display. With the capability for 67W wired fast charging, the 4,700mAh battery powers the device. The phone looks to be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, which is now available in India.
With its GG Victus 2 quad-curve display and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU, the Xiaomi 14 Civi offers near flagship performance in India.
This Civi model, like others, has two 32MP sensors for its dual selfie camera; one is hidden behind a wide lens (78°, 26mm), and the other is hidden behind an extremely wide lens (100°, 18mm). They have slow-motion selfie capabilities, a teleprompter mode for vloggers, and the ability to capture 4K video at 30 frames per second.
The Leica Vario-Summilux lenses on the back cameras make them equally stunning. The primary camera features a brilliant f/1.63 lens with a 25mm focal length, OIS, and a 50MP “Light Fusion 800” image sensor (1.0µm pixels).
A 50MP portrait camera with an f/1.98 aperture and a 50mm lens (2x) is placed next to it. This one, however, has no OIS. It’s a 12MP super wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and 120° field of view (15mm).
A 4,700mAh battery that supports 67W cable charging powers the Xiaomi 14 Civi. After 30 minutes of charging, the battery is supposed to offer up to 80 percent of its capacity. The phone weighs 177 grams and is 157.2 x 72.77 x 7.4 mm in size.
The screen is an LTPO panel that supports 12-bit colors (HDR10+, Dolby Vision) with a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. It uses 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM and DC dimming to control its 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
Xiaomi 14 Civi price in India
The 8GB + 256GB model of the Xiaomi 14 Civi is priced at Rs. 42,999. The cost of the 12GB + 512GB variant is Rs. 47,999. It will be on sale starting on June 20 at 12:00 pm IST through Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and Xiaomi’s retail partners. It is available in the following color options: Cruise Blue, Matcha Green, and Shadow Black.
