Xiaomi has announced its latest budget 4G smartphone in the ‘Redmi’ series dubbed as Xiaomi Redmi 4A. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and powered by 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with 500MHz Adreno 308 GPU. It packs 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB with microSD).
It runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system. As far as the camera is concerned, it has 13MP rear camera with PDAF, LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording and a 5MP front-facing camera, f/2.2 aperture. It has Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + micro / microSD) slot. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS. It has an infrared sensor but doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor. It packs a 3120mAh built-in battery.
